Overview

GENERAL FUNCTION:

  • Put away and storage
  • Picking and prepping of orders
  • Loading and unloading
  • Receiving
  • Inventory
  • Miscellaneous warehouse functions.

 RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Put away and storage
  • Pick up from production and put away product
  • understand warehouse layout and assist with space allocation and utilization
  • Transfer inventory when required
  • Picking and prepping orders: labeling, documents, special instructions, C of As, lab samples, etc.
  • Loading and unloading hose, compound, and raw materials
  • Receiving: verify that PO#, count, 6-digit code etc., is correct, knowledge of raw materials and record keeping.
  • Inventory: cycle counts, returns.
  • Pallet coordination and repair.
  • Ensure all shipments meet all DOT regulations.
  • Maintain housekeeping.
  • Know and follow department SOPs and others as required.
  • Able to work overtime with short notice as necessary.
  • Responsible for training other employees for these or related duties.
  • Assist with other jobs as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Must have computer skills as required.
  • Must be trained and familiar with shipping hazardous materials.
  • Must have basic math skills.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job.
  • Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.  Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
