Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Master Production Schedule (MPS) under guidance.
  • Support multi-site master planning activities, ensuring alignment of schedules, materials, and priorities across location.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and customer orders to support planning decisions. 
  • Monitor schedule adherence and escalate risks or gaps. 
  • Coordinate with production and procurement to ensure material availability. 
  • Track and report KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory levels, etc.). 
  • Support S&OP/S&OE processes through data preparation and analysis. 
  • Assist with inventory management, including safety stock and excess reduction. 
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Promote collaboration, alignment, and problem-solving by identifying priorities, flagging obstacles and impacts, supporting countermeasures, and following up on progress. 

Qualifications (Education & Work Experience):

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing/supply planning or 4-year degree in Supply Chain management, or related field with 2+ years of planning experience. 
  • Experience using production planning methods and workflows. 
  • Exposure to master production scheduling and level loading concepts. 
  • Experience supporting inventory control methods and reporting metrics. 
  • Ability to perform basic what-if analysis. 
  • Ability to review multiple data points to draw conclusions and support decisions. 
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP/S&OP/S&OE systems and planning processes. 
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and spreadsheet skills. 
  • Strong sense of urgency, responsiveness, and self-motivation. 
  • Ability to think logically and communicate clearly. 
  • Effective interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. 
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
