Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Business Analyst and a member of the Business Finance team you will be focused on financial and strategic planning, business performance, process improvement, and investment analysis for one of our Global Business Units.

• Serves as a business partner and key financial resource for the business unit.
• Interprets monthly and annual financial results and evaluates business performance.
• Provides reporting packages highlighting key performance indicators. Identifies financial performance trends and provides insight to drive improvements and bring added value to both the business and company.
• Plays a key role in annual and long range business planning.
• Performs both routine and ad-hoc analyses supporting all areas of the business. Participates on cross functional teams providing situational leadership supporting both tactical and strategic initiatives.
• Completes investment analyses and provides recommendations for capital expenditures and new product development projects.
• Provides analytical support for benchmarking performance; taking into consideration key industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant economic factors

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a financial or business analyst
• 3-5 years of relevant experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (advanced degree preferred)
• Driven, self-motivated, proactive
• Collaborative team player
• Effectively manages priorities and influences decisions within a matrix organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication. Demonstrated ability to explain complex topics.
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• Experience with ERP and Business Intelligence systems. Experience with Infor M3, IBM Cognos Analytics, and SAP Business Planning & Consolidation a plus.
• Travel: 15%

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
